| Reeth as seen from Fremington Edge |
The renowned walker and writer Alfred Wainwright often said that Swaledale was his favourite of the Yorkshire
Dales. In fact he chose Swaledale as part of the route for the famous coast to coast walk which passes right through
the village of Reeth. Looking at the photographs it is easy to see why! All of these were taken within a short
distance of Leeside Cottage. There are many walks to suit all abilities. Several of these walks are direct
from the door of Leeside Cottage and there are many more within easy reach. Enjoy exploring Yorkshire's
most beautiful Dale.
